Looking to the hills Ps. 121

We truly have to look to the hills, to God from where our help comes. Not from another person, truly God use people to get what He needs done and we should make sure that we have avail ourselves totally to the will and purpose of God.
How do we do that?
We should take our eyes off of ourselves for a minute every now and then, now more than then and catch a glimpse of others. Especially others in the household of faith, who have needs that we can help with out of our provisions that God has blessed us with. We must be discerning, seek God for the spirit of discernment. We must ask God to show us physical, spiritual, emotional needs around us and to guide us in making a difference.

Day 9
Rev 14:6 And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation and kindred and tongue and people.

Today's Focus: Pray that your church will expand the spreading of the Gospel through Evangelism, Missions and Outreach and through various forms of media in a spirit of excellence.

Today's readings; Matt.28:19; Acts 1:8; Col.3:17

Read, meditate, talk with God, wait upon Him quietly. Post your thoughts and go forth in obedience to the Word of God.

I feel that the texts today really strengthens my desire to reach out more to the unsaved because the saved people do not need us telling them about this Savior. It is the 'world' that needs to hear, we spend much of our time with believers, which we should do in building up one another. However, I think that we should spend a little more time on the mission field as God has directed us in Matt. 28:19. We are already armed with the tools we need as stated in Acts 1:8 and if not, we should seriously fast and pray, asking God to lead us into His will with that regard.
We then will be able to live out The Word in Col. 3:17.

For I know whom I believed and I am persuaded that He is able, to keep that which He has committed unto Him against that day. God is able.... When we are having a normal day, everything is manageable, we are happy and self centered,Our day is perfect. As soon as we are faced with a small challenge and things aren't going the way we planned, THEN we remember from whence comes our source of strength. we cry "Lord, though has been my hiding place, my rock...... Can we please, everyday, give God honor in ALL that we think, say and do. This way we do not feel like a cheating spouse, guilty when we turn to God, bawling ,seeking forgiveness and restoration. And, still begging for favors. GOD IS faithful always, and if we continue to be faithful in our daily quiet time with Him, He will be honored and will have first place in our lives. Imagine, if we would consult God in everything we do, study and meditate upon His word and apply everything that we learn from Him. If we use the power that we are given as we become His children. What an amazing life we would lead, what a testimony we would have and what an example we would be anywhere we walk. When we are challenged in the most impossible way, we will lead others to the Lord just because they want to walk like we do. Then we would be fulfilling one of the greatest occupation a Christian could have
"I will make you fishers of men if you follow me" Do you know what it means to follow Christ. I was sharing with a friend of mine whose Heart acted up a little last week, she was telling me that she was not scared of dying and that she can say without fear that" to live is Christ but to die is gain".
Let your day count!
