Looking to the hills Ps. 121

We truly have to look to the hills, to God from where our help comes. Not from another person, truly God use people to get what He needs done and we should make sure that we have avail ourselves totally to the will and purpose of God.
How do we do that?
We should take our eyes off of ourselves for a minute every now and then, now more than then and catch a glimpse of others. Especially others in the household of faith, who have needs that we can help with out of our provisions that God has blessed us with. We must be discerning, seek God for the spirit of discernment. We must ask God to show us physical, spiritual, emotional needs around us and to guide us in making a difference.

Day 9
Rev 14:6 And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation and kindred and tongue and people.

Today's Focus: Pray that your church will expand the spreading of the Gospel through Evangelism, Missions and Outreach and through various forms of media in a spirit of excellence.

Today's readings; Matt.28:19; Acts 1:8; Col.3:17

Read, meditate, talk with God, wait upon Him quietly. Post your thoughts and go forth in obedience to the Word of God.

I feel that the texts today really strengthens my desire to reach out more to the unsaved because the saved people do not need us telling them about this Savior. It is the 'world' that needs to hear, we spend much of our time with believers, which we should do in building up one another. However, I think that we should spend a little more time on the mission field as God has directed us in Matt. 28:19. We are already armed with the tools we need as stated in Acts 1:8 and if not, we should seriously fast and pray, asking God to lead us into His will with that regard.
We then will be able to live out The Word in Col. 3:17.
